Lyrics

Your grandma's ring is "somethin' old"
My shoes are "somethin' blue"
We have borrowed, we have promise
But we never have the truth

I'm still holdin' on to the old
I'm stuck feelin' blue
Feels like borrowed love to me
Like you're moving on to somethin' new

We were talkin' 'bout forever,
Pickin' colors, pickin' dates
I was tryin' on your last name,
While you were plannin' your escape

I kept holdin' on to the old
Kept on feelin' blue
Felt like borrowed love to me
Like you're moving on to somethin' new

I was just your something special
On your way to something new
Left you standing at the altar
Caught an early flight to Cancun

I'm done holding on to the old
All done feeling blue
No more borrowed love for me
I'm moving on to something new

I'm done holding on to the old
All done feeling blue
No more borrowed love for me
I'm moving on to something new

No more borrowed love for me
I'm moving on to something new
No more borrowed love for me
I'm moving on to something new
